Well I haven't received my PR card yet. I called IRCC and they said that it was mailed out at the last week of June. Blame it on the dispute that is going on between Canada Post and the Union .. :o Well I hope it arrives for all of us.

If you're an inland applicant, who has been working, you dont need to show proof of fund, to land at the border.

Before you submit your PR application to Ottawa, make sure to do upfront Medical (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/medical/medexams-perm.asp) as that will speed up your process. Do not submit, without getting your medicals done. Also, its a good thing that you did your Canadian Police...
