I think it took about a month to get the physical letter. It comes with a handbook of super useful information as well. My husband is attending the suggested seminar on acclimating to canada given by the embassy/non-profit

I did both for your questions, My hubby was in ROTC so I had a few more years to fill out but the last column I put Mandatory service, so I hope they realise that. And for the background declaration I did both documents for both of us...I figured its better to be safe than sorry!

Yes, approved to sponsor and his application was sent to Ottawa instead of Manila. Im a little worried.

In south Korea

My documents for my husband were supposed to be sent to Manila for processing but instead have been sent to CPC Ottawa. We are applying Outland in South Korea. Anyone know why??

Has anyone been surprised as to where CIC sent their PR documents to be processed? I called and asked why Ottawa instead of Manila but they had no answered, they just said it was normal.
