I'm happy to say that I'm finally landed. I was already in Canada and got my appointment for yesterday. We were the first ones called and the process was less than 10 minutes. I the n went to get my SIN. Finally, its done! Longest 14 months ever but definitely worth it!!

So I just logged in to cic just for the hell of it, and it says decision made. I haven't received any email or the fedex package yet though. I wasn't thinking about it and now I'm nervous to know what I'm getting.

That is correct. I am nervous to find out what they are sending me because they dont have anything original that I need back. eCas hasn't changed either. Do they request everyone's passport, or do they sometimes just sent the documents needed for border control?

Mine is also 17 months, and my application was in June 1. I have not requested them yet. I'm trying to be so patient, but when I see so many others finishing the process, it's getting disheartening. :(

I've read on the CIC website that you can live in Canada while your application is being processed. I plan to visit in a few weeks.

My husband got the email, and he's been approved as my sponsor!!!! No more biting fingernails.....

I tried calling, but no success. It rings once then says the call cannot be completed.
