Linking PR Card Application for Dependents?

Hi All, I landed in Canada last month. I didn't have a permanent address at that time so officer gave me "address change notification form". I sent this form to IRCC through online web form. I waited for few days then linked my pr application to my account. All of this went smoothly. Now the...

Do you need SIN to buy a sim?

I am planning to go in Milton. Does Chatr have in-zone data coverage there? From the map on their website, they only cover Milton partially (Talk, Text & Data Plans (in-zone)).

Do you need SIN to buy a sim?

Why is not a good choice? You get more value for your money? Or any other reason?

Do you need SIN to buy a sim?

By a plan do you mean I have to buy a phone as well? I already have a phone and just want to buy a sim (with some voice + data package) and use that sim with existing phone. Is that not possible? Or by plan you mean postpaid? Also there is something called "International Sim" (like WorldSim)...

Do you need SIN to buy a sim?

Hi, I am landing in a couple of months (a family of 4). I am in contact with a person who is willing to help in everything at initial steps (airport pickup, SIN registration, sim cards, bank account, etc) but I prefer not to rely on anyone. That person will probably charge for this (I haven't...

Those who Waiting EXPRESS ENTRY in Six Months and not finalized!!!!

Nationality: Pakistan. No they didn't. A week before my medical was going to expire, I sent them an email asking for status of my application and told them my medical was expiring. They renewed it for an additional year. I didn't see any kind of update in my CIC for this. But saw in GCMS notes.

GCMS shows 'Security Screening' and waiting... - let's gather here!

If your AOR is May 12 and still waiting for PPR, then you are likely in SS. IRCC has increased level of redaction in GCMS notes. So it is possible they are completely hiding SS. I also got my notes recently and they are useless because even dates are redacted. I am in complete darkness...

Those who Waiting EXPRESS ENTRY in Six Months and not finalized!!!!

Send an email to your visa office, requesting an update on your application. If you do not know your visa office then send e-mail to CPC-Ottawa and they will tell you about your visa office. Your visa office isn't necessarily where you are living. Once you send an email (remember to mention...

    Police certificate From Lahore Pakistan

Should be enough. I haven't seen attestation requirement for any document from IRCC. If it were a requirement then it would have been written on their web site. I haven't seen a case where a document was rejected due to lack of attestation. The only requirement is that it should be in English or...

    Police certificate From Lahore Pakistan

You need separate PCC from different cities if the cities are in different provinces. Jacobabad is in Sindh, and Lahore is in Punjab. So He will need it.

Those who Waiting EXPRESS ENTRY in Six Months and not finalized!!!!

You can get PPR very soon. I have seen people getting PPR in 3 weeks, so it is not impossible. But for some people IP2 starts early then goes on for months. So it is not really a guarantee.

Those who Waiting EXPRESS ENTRY in Six Months and not finalized!!!!

That is good news. Your background check is completed. They are about to finalize your application. Any day now. At this stage you don't really need GCMS notes. If you feel they are taking too long to finalize, you can send them a CSE/query.

Those who Waiting EXPRESS ENTRY in Six Months and not finalized!!!!

Simplest way is to look at wording in your online profile: IP1: Background Check: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check. IP2: Background Check: We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
