My parents are not in Canada, so the process is a headache for them. And I've got mixed responses regarding whether or not a PCC is needed for the time spent in Canada. So confused...

Hi Sanj, I'm on the same boat with you. My mom stayed in Canada for over 6 months and we received a letter from IRCC requesting for a police certificate for any country with a stay over 6 months. Wondering if you submitted RCMP PCC or just the Indian one? Thanks.

Hi all, After no response from IRCC for my parents PR applications for half a year, last week we finally received the request for biometric, medical exam and police certificate. In the request it says a police certificate in Canada is needed if my parents spent over 6-month time in Canada...

Landed yesterday at Rainbow Bridge. Just 1 or 2 ppl there due to the snow. Asked me for my passport, landing paper and POF.

Sent my passport on Jan 4.

Application approved and closed just now. Now waiting for return tracker to be activated.

Our passports were sent on Jan 4 and received the following day. Hopefully we'll get them back within 2 weeks. But some ppl got theirs back within 1 week, so I guess it depends on the officer.

Hi guys, Did anyone do inland landing in Toronto recently? How long did you wait before the CIC office contact you to make an appointment? I called the call centre but the agent refused to tell me how long I need to wait for the next available appointment. Thanks.

Hi ksk_fsw, Did you put your name on the back of the photo as well? It's not required according to CIC specification, but how would they know who is who if there are multiple applicants?

Applied on July 24, AOR on the same day, medical exam passed on August 4. Just got access to ECAS, 3 lines. Still, BG check not started. Could someone please update my information? Thanks.

But I am inland applicant, still no BG check yet even though medical exam has passed.
