It definitely is. At least if they put it into the system when they got it you'd have some assurance. But to wait so long for the AOR is crazy. It should be all done online too. I'm able to get a passport from Ireland for my daughter in 2 weeks and it's all done through a website!

Do you have to be physically in Canada to apply for the BOWP? I am currently out of the country for work If applying online how would they know if you're not?

I did find it odd that I was approved after seeing others not being approved There may be nothing in this but I was out of the country for a few days from the 6th to the 11th I checked in online for my flight and gave my passport info etc. It crossed my mind that this was somehow flagged in CIC...
