I don't know much about PEME. But from the name I feel it is too basic and since you worked under production sector, I feel quality will definitely suit you. Give me few subjects taught under this for my better understanding.

I think process quality is a good one since quality check is mandatory for any industry. However, go through the syllabus and also make sure it is something that you want to pursue. But I would prefer process quality.

Course selection is not a problem in your case. It is relevant. However, make sure all the documents are in place i.e. SOP, Financial statements, educational background, work exp documents (if applicbale). The normal stuffs. Your course selection is fine.

I will be notifying the university that i wont be attending. For the embassy, i plan not to say because it will be unnecessary complication. Will there be any legal consequence because of this as change of plan is a genuine reason?

I received message from CIC today that my visa is approved. However i wont be attending the univ or going to Canada because I received admission to a college in India. I am planning to attend the school in India. Will the visa automatically expire if I dont travel or is there any other consequences?

I had the same issue. But I received a letter from embassy confirming that my visa has been approved, exactly on the 8th week. So you will get by the 8 th week. I didnt do my medicals as it was exempted. I am residing in Oman. So if medical is not necessary, it does not mean it is a visa rejection

What I meant was suppose the application processing is held or paused by the embassy for some reason. Will the embassy notify us, if it is being held?

Thanks for the assurance. But you said your embassy is supposed to take 4 weeks and now it is 8. Is there any specific reason for this delay? You had to go through any documentation or medical?

My reason for impatience is because I have got admission in India 2 days backs and I plan to go for that. So I need my passport before 2 nd week of June as I have to be there. I don't know if I should cancel or wait for the visa. I thought since it is going to be 8 weeks by next week, I will...

U will have to apply for the visa..get the documents from the university and begin with the visa application..normally the univ will let you know about the registration terms and conditions. It should have started by now..You can also ask your university officials.
