I want to let the group know that we finally got our medical request. Does anyone know what the process is after you get your medicals done? How much time does it take for passport request and stamping?

We applied for our PR in May, 2010 to NDVO and sent full docs in January, 2011. We have been waiting since then. Our application changed to 'in process' on April 27, 2012. We have not received any request for medicals yet. Is there anyone else from NDVO who is waiting for medicals? Can anyone...

Hi, I am an applicant from May. Has anyone got your Status changed to 'In Process'? You should be getting medical requests now... Am wondering which batch is currently being processed. Are they even looking at pre-June applicants! Any thoughts?

Hi, I had applied on 17th May 2010. I'm hoping to get request for medicals by sometime in June and finally the PR by October. Is this a realistic expectation? Please let me know. I too have the same status update and it just changed from 'In Process' to 'RBVO'

Guess What! Today they have added a line 'Medical Results Received' to my 'In Process' Status. I just sent some additional documents last week and have not yet received any request for medicals! This is really strange....

Thanks Awoderu! For most past applicants, there is a status 'RBVO' which then changes to 'In Process'. But mine directly went to 'In Process' without 'RBVO'. Do you know why?

I got my DD charged on 19th August. Please update status. I too am applying through consultant, but I took a DD in canadian dollars and sent it to my consultant. We noted our DD number and I kept calling Bank of America to check whether my DD was en-cashed. I got the news yesterday only.

Hi SandR, Congratulations! We are getting our PCC through Chennai Police Commissioner. As for settlement funds, we are planning to send copies of fixed deposit certificates. Does the AOR specify how long they will take to process your documents? As time goes by, we are getting very nervous!
