The passport(s) provided does not cover the 6 year period... PLEASE HELP

You don't need a letter from the embassy, but you do need a letter from yourself clarifying the time gap in between passports.

Issues getting a SIN after becoming a PR

Was your PR application inland or outland? If it was outland, then they should process your SIN application using the visa stamped in your passport + COPR — at least this is how it used to be back when I did it. I applied for my SIN the day of my landing. Only one or the other didn't suffice...

Don't feel discouraged. I had Decision Made for months before they sent me the oath invitation. Don't worry.

Tracking June 2015 Citizenship Application - Please Share your Timeline

That's not true at all — there's no certainty yet of the timeline. Hopefully shinigami6231 will receive an oath invitation sooner rather than later, but at the same time it could be weeks or even months (like in my case, and so many others in this forum) until the oath line is displayed.

There might be added an extra line when they have scheduled you for oath. From September 2015 until January 2016 I had "Decision Made" without the 6th line, only the notice for test.

Canadian Dad, visiting mother have a baby in Canada.

The baby will be Canadian if born in Canada because Canada does grant nationality based on jus soli even if none of the parents are Canadian, as long as the parents aren't foreign diplomatic staff (which doesn't seem to be the case). Your marital status is irrelevant for the child's citizenship...

when and what cause PR status can be cancel by CIC

"Losing your permanent resident status Losing your permanent resident status does not happen automatically. You cannot lose your permanent resident status simply by living outside of Canada long enough that you don’t meet the residency requirement. Unless you have gone through an official...

To withdraw or not to withdraw

Regular processing is taking that long however, urgent processing takes a much shorter period of time for people with no residency issues or doubts. I applied for mine last year (while I was in the process of applying for citizenship), and it took 2 weeks for renewal, between them receiving the...

First time travelling to US as Canadian citizen

Travelling as a Brazilian citizen with a 10-year B1/B2 and many US stamps: fingerprinted every time as required, but often no more than one or two questions asked. Travelling as a Canadian citizen with a brand new passport (thus no stamps) and a name that is completely different from the name...

Ari is right: I left Canada literary the day after I got my passport. And then I came back a week later, because I'm a Canadian academic, with responsibilities in the country. :P

    Illegal immigration question

The child is a Canadian citizen; the father, however, does not became a citizen by reason of having a Canadian child. Hard to say. Unless he's reported, nothing might happen. But staying in the country without status opens up for these kinds of possibilities.

Except that you landed on a visa granted through a spousal sponsorship application when you were already separated from your sponsor, and went to land and live with friends in another province from the get-go. And then got welfare for years, which your ex-wife will have to pay for. It's not...

Omission place of birth on passport?

OP can omit this information in the Canadian passport, but border officials in other countries will probably scrutinize OP's trips for the omission. I personally wouldn't omit this info, but it's up to OP to make the call.
