    you should try. Even HIV is not an automatic refusal. f your overall health is good, you get some other private health insurance, satisfy CIC that you have alternative sources to treatement and would not cause excessive demand in the next 10 years you might be ok. I would try and make my case.

    Statistics are wrong. It took me 285 days to get PPR and I know I am not an isolated case. Average time had gone up for months.

    don't give up your hope just yet. My application was rejected (wrongly) twice in the process., I got it reopened. If you provided correct information and documents they asked, they will reopen your case, it just might take them a little while.. hold on, that is all I can say...
