Finally got a IRCC email - My visa has been returned because I sent it to the wrong office, surely if I applied online that’s not my fault?

I’m from the U.K. wife is Canadian citizen.

Called two MP’s they haven’t done anything and contacting IRCC is impossible without an UCI.

8 months till the day I applied… No AOR, nothing. Ridiculous :mad:

We are still for the first AOR… IRCC are saying Octobers visa are still being worked on and we’re a couple of months away.

My file still hasn’t been looked at from 3rd January… also notice the Outland application processing time is now two years

Still no AOR… 3rd January applied, lol.

Over six months now and still no AOR. Canadian MP can’t do anything of help…trying to contact someone at IRCC is impossible. Glad to see most of you are far along in the process.

Same response I’ve been getting… just want to know they’ve received the application and it’s all ok.

Still waiting for my AOR from 3rd Jan… I’m actually in Canada now on a 6 months holiday with my returning Canada wife (we lived together for 7 years in the U.K.). It’s become extremely annoying that we’ve not received anything after all this time and newer applications have already been...

Sorry I’ve done the U.K. way of writing a date we applied on 3rd January 2022… so was hoping for the AOR before now because some people way after us have got theirs.

Still no AOR for me applied on 03/01/2022

I’m noticing a lot of people are getting AOR1’s (Congratulations). I applied before alot of these people and haven’t had anything back… is this normal? I’m just thinking I’ve messed something up and they’ve decided not to process it as fast.

Thank you for your answer but this is what I was dreading. I don’t want to be in Canada for 9 months (if I’m lucky) not doing anything. Is there any around this?…Cancelling this visa and then applying for inland?
