i heard people mentioned that they got both photos back but they still landed at the border successfully. In my case, i got one photo for each of us back which is the one on COPR.

no. you need to leave the return envelop blank. CIC will put a sticker on it.

you can log in to CIC website and use your uci# or application # to link your pr card application to your account.

depends where you are. mine wasn't activated until Friday Feb 23 at 7pm so i got it on Monday @Flyhigher this guy's return tracker was activated on Thursday Feb 22 at 7pm and he got his passport on Feb 23 in the morning. We are both in Alberta.

They only deliver on weekdays. usually they will activated return tracker at around 7pm ottawa time. and it takes about 2 days to arrive to your house. Canada post didn't ring my door bell, they just put it in my community mail box and i got an email saying that my parcel was delivered.

in my case, she didn't peel off the anything from the return envelop. i bought a return envelop and put it in the big envelop. that's it. i took a picture of the return envelop because i want to track the return envelop on canada post website

You can call cic and talk to the agent. The agent told me my return envelop tracking number.

They asked us two questions. 1. if we have been charged/convicted of a crime in any country 2. if w have any dependants other than who is on the application. They just need your work permit, passport and confirmation of PR.

Based on @Flyhigher 's post yesterday, his return tracker was activated at 7pm ottawa time. It is already 7:04pm. Guess they still haven't send our passports out.

That is normal. When did you get approved online and when did your return tracker activated?

But sudbury and north bay is almost 400km away from ottawa. i don't see this is gonna affect canada post in Ottawa.

Just keep calling the agent. I called three times this morning and the first two calls said cic is currently experiencing high volume call and i need to call later. finally the last time i called i can talk to a real person and i waited for 35 minutes.

finally got a hold of the agent on the phone. he was nice and he confirmed that my file was approved and closed yesterday and my passport was mail out at 11pm ottawa time last night. but my return tracker was not yer activated so far. i am guessing it was too late last night so canada post...
