They required OWP holder fees receipt twice as they have technical issue (can't see receipt) when we uploaded at the first time (Apr 24th). Also, it seems that CIC will hold your application for exactly 7 days after they sending request letter. Anyway, I think I am the special case, you guys...

Guys, Applied on Feb 20th for me and my spouse, just got approval today, totally 81 days. Maybe the longest waiting time in this forum. Good luck on everyone's applications.

But he did not pay holder fee when he applied on Mar 3rd, and his spouse was requested to pay recently, I guess that is why Amisnic got approval so fast while no result for his spouse.

It seems that, if applicant didn't submit holder fee $100 initially, and was sent a notice/email to re-pay later, CIC did NOT process those cases so far. Correct me if I am wrong.... Just wondering did someone applied after Feb 20th and got approval with above condition ? Please let me know...

I Applied on Feb 20th, still waiting ... Called CIC last Friday, they will not send notes unless my case pass the processing time (Feb 14th).

Applied on Feb 20 with my spouse, still waiting. The only thing CIC did was to ask for open work permit holder fees on Apr 23, paid and uploaded receipt on 24 immediately. Then no response and no reply for their official enquiry form. What they did in the past one week was to update processing...

Hi Hegarty147, Thanks for your update. I applied on Feb 20th, still nothing so far. No reply after sending 'Case specific enquiries form' on Apr 27th.... Please let me know if you could get something from call agent. Good luck with everyone's application.

They updated my CIC account and attached a notice in PDF, just follow all the procedures in the notice, pay fees on CIC website and upload your receipt into your CIC account. You must finish everything in 7 days after receiving the notice, otherwise they will make the decision.

I applied on Feb 20th around 10PM, CIC updated myCIC with a notice to request open work permit holder fee ($100) on Apr 23rd (the 62th day) , not sure why I need this as the new policy was started on Feb 21st :( Paid and submitted the receipt on 24th. I am still waiting for result, sent 'Case...
