Has anybody traveled to Canada recently with passport expiring in less than 6 months from India ? As far as I know canada does not require the 6 months validity rule for entry, were there any other issues encountered during boarding etc. Regards, Harneet

yes to both. You would be needing an NOC to apply for visa from your employer. And yes get the flat evaluated from a certified evaluater and attach the original certificate with your application , keep a copy for your records. Cheers !!

April 22nd, got sms on 13th May

Took 21 days for me (Calendar) and eventually it was approved. So it is taking time due to students/holiday rush, nothing to worry, Cheers !!

Applied on 22nd may and got passports on 13th may. Exactly 3 calender weeks, going by that rate, you should be hearing from them in couple of days. Cheers !!

I understand that if you submit application online you keep on getting regular SMS for each and every status change. IS the case same for applied through VFS or you just get the sms when the passport is received and dispatched. Regards, Harneet
