They just have gotten dumber, since they aren't breaking re-medical loop. More work for them and more for Applicants. It takes more money to get those tests done. If it wasn't for Re-medicals, december applicants would be getting their PPR.

Ordering notes after few weeks of going to IP isn't a bad idea itself unless ordering Notes works against your file?

I have been here since april, and they are still stuck around same months july.august, not moving forward at all. the way they are going now, it does seem like things are getting worse and wait will be long and painful. Is there any kind of reason now they are working really slow?

Not sure if NDVO follows same procedure, they might have different set of rules since I don't think Indian send kissing pictures.

Usually it wasn't the case that if you got in process, then you will get an interview but now it doesnt really matter if you are in process or not, getting an interview is independent of it.

You are the second one. It has been trend now they NDVO will pick up few files even 3-4 months ahead of other files. Maybe they do categorize the files based on how simple the case or some other reason like they want to clear few percentage under 7 months or so.

Nah, I doubt thats the case. They can't just skip so many months ahead and start working on other applications right away. We will know more about it in coming weeks. My own guess is that in coming weeks, everyone will be in process. They are just changing every status to IN process starting...

They just got an excuse to become lazy, it is not like they take that much to work on your file. They don't even touch your file for first 9 months. Actual time spent on background check must not have changed at all. Life is too short to wait few years just to be with your loved ones.
