Better write to CIPS first by sending email to info@cips.ca. They are the best persons to decide whether you should go for certification from CIPS or not. Also this certfication is based on our experience and NOC we are falling into. Does your NOC requires CIPS certificate or APEGS?

Actually they have stated in their timeline webpage that whatever timeline they have mentioned does not include the time we take to get the license. So I think we need to start counting from the day when we have submitted the CIPS certificate. When you have submitted?

Minimum 8 weeks it will take. I am still waiting for the license. For me its almost 8 weeks today.

Wait for the response. They will definitely reply you. It takes three to four days sometimes as they are having lots of enquiries.
