    Unfortunately no. You have to qualify on your own. You are no longer considered a dependent because of your age and the Canadian government expects that you are already independent and able to provide for yourself. You can check out other economic streams though. FSW or Provincial Nominee.

    Once you get PPR it's already guaranteed. They wrote it in the letter that for them to be able to issue the confirmation of permanent residence, we have to give our passports. Congratulations to you too ortswak! :) I'm actually here at VFS now waiting for them to release the passport haha

    I got the PPR first. Sent it through VFS June 30. Then until this morning my ecas was still In Process. I received a text around 12 noon from VFS though that my passport was ready for pick up today. Checked ecas again and it's DM already. :) Celebrate. Our LDR days are finally over...
