Express Entry applicants who received AOR connect here

I agree that it's frustrating for earlier applicants to see their files still pending while later applicants seem to breeze through, but "rank" and CRS really shouldn't play a role in the way and speed files are treated once the application has been submitted. So I don't see any injustice there...

Express Entry applicants who received AOR connect here

Great news: we just completed our landing today! Our passports made it from Ottawa to Vancouver in less than 24 hours, so we decided to get it over with and immediately drove down to the border (Peace Arch in BC). In case it helps others, a couple of notes for future reference: I was sure that...

Express Entry applicants who received AOR connect here

I don't think this is a cause for concern at all -- I was also asked for a full Schedule A form (not just a specific section) despite my application being gap-free. Our application was approved just a few days after returning the form. (I can't guarantee the last bit for you obviously, but...

Express Entry applicants who received AOR connect here

I agree with others that it only means that a few days passed between the passports reached the PO Box and when they were actually received by processing agents (or some other human who actually opened the package). Either way, I wouldn't be worried -- they have your passport, you were deemed...

Same as krishna19's -- closed, BG and eligibility passed, decision: approved, etc. it just changed this morning.

Express Entry applicants who received AOR connect here

We sent our passports the same day as you, and only today saw the tracker activated -- yours is surely not far behind! All in all it was not as bad as I thought in terms of waiting -- they received our mailer on June 1st, and sent it out to us within 8 calendar days. If all goes well with the...

    PPR Documents

It's a copy/printout of the actual PPR letter -- I'm guessing it's for quicker processing, since the letter contains the applicant's details (name, Client ID, file #, etc.). Also worth noting: you need only send your passport if you're from a non-visa-exempt country.

Express Entry applicants who received AOR connect here

That's not really that surprising -- we already had all or most of our documents ready to upload as soon as we got our ITAs, so it makes sense that people with returned applications are represented in large numbers among early EE applicants.

Congrats Krishna19! It seems like our timelines have been almost identical these past few weeks! :D

Express Entry applicants who received AOR connect here

Just me -- but I'm the spouse (i.e. the co-applicant) in this case.

Express Entry applicants who received AOR connect here

Exactly! There seems to be no discernible pattern, unfortunately: I've seen people get ppr a day after submitting additional docs, a week or so like in our case, and some have been languishing for weeks after submitting Schedule A. It's so unpredictable! (Though it seems generally to be a good...

Express Entry applicants who received AOR connect here

Sure -- March 1st, so it will be roughly 3 months by the time we're landed (if all goes smoothly with Canada Post, of course).

Express Entry applicants who received AOR connect here

Haven't had a chance to update it here, but the full timeline is available on Jaffa's spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1IeR5iF7-R0aQ8IbgExLObajY8VajgzgIuyqOg0aEDus/edit#gid=924600149 The landing dates are approximate, obviously ;)

Express Entry applicants who received AOR connect here

More good news today -- my wife and I just got ppr! It's such a huge relief, as our original CEC application was among those returned in February. I was super worried about EE, yet now, instead of December, we could be landed by the first week of June! Pretty amazing. Congrats to everyone else...

Express Entry applicants who received AOR connect here

At the very least, it means that the file is now in Ottawa, and no longer in Sydney, NS (that's the visa office that was mentioned in the document request letter) -- in other words, I believe it most likely means we passed the initial eligibility and completeness checks (even if we won't know...

Along with the change noted above, we also just received a request for additional documents: an updated Schedule 1 and proof of citizenship for our Canada-born children. I'm staying cautiously optimistic...

Express Entry applicants who received AOR connect here

Small movement, but I'll take anything these days: ECAS just changed today from "Application Received" to "In Process." (It was in "Application Received" since April 22nd). Hoping for the best! ::)

It sounds a lot like a pre-formatted reply which simply hasn't been updated since the introduction of EE, since their definition of AOR in the message is no longer true these days.

    Apologies . But still hav'nt got convincing answer Noc 4011 / 4021

I'm not an immigration lawyer or expert, but to me, the most common sense thing to do is to apply with the NOC that best fits your title and job responsibilities (in this case: 4011), and explain the PhD situation elsewhere in your application (just for context, my wife and I both applied in the...
