I have a question about the IMM5406 Additional Family Information form. If my father is deceased, should his marital status be "deceased" or "married"? What about his address? I tried contacting CIC, and I am getting conflicting answers.

After uploading documents using Case Specific Enquiry (I agree about the nuisance of having a 3.5mb limitation), how long does it take for the records to be shown as received on the CIC Status Check? It's been about a week and we have nothing. We never received any confirmation emails either.

For people who had been requested additional documents by CIC (relationship proof, fingerprints, amended forms, etc.), did you mail in the documents or upload them to the Case Specific Enquiry form page? Does it matter which method you use?

Mailed from Toronto to Hong Kong on Sep 21, 2016 via UPS and delivered on Sep 26, 2016. So a little over 2 weeks since delivery.

How did you know when they completed the check and sent the result to CIC? Did it reflect on ECAS or did you call them(HK police)?

Same here. April 2015 applicant. Called CIC and we were informed that the Mississauga processing centre had missed the 16 months point and asked us to wait another month and then call back again.
