My husband landed yesterday in Halifax at a CIC Office, it was quick, and really straight forward. So pleased to finally be finished of everything. :)

After almost 2 months of CIC losing our photos, my husband landed in Halifax yesterday. :D It feels almost surreal to be finished with this process. We celebrated by getting his PEI drivers license and buying a car!

My husband will be landing in Halifax on the 26th of this month. It feels amazing to finally be so close to finished!

YAY!! I am SO happy that worked out so easily for you. I had been checking for an update early. Cograts, it's over, have many drinks and celibate that you don't need to deal with CIC for at least another 5 years to renew your PR card. :D

Oh my god you cannot get a break. I can't believe how inept these people who make choices about our lives are. Hopefully they will let you land at the border, I recall you are really close, maybe you should just drive down to ask some questions and maybe get lucky in person. :)

COPR arrived today! Mailed April 4th. What a great Friday! (Not in the express prepaid envelope we sent them either lol) Hope yours comes asap next week!

Received COPR today! Finally, longest wait ever since Feb 29th DM!

So, somehow my husbands visitor extension was approved in about a week..yet they can't mail a COPR that was printed Feb 29th. Can't even understand how CIC does anything.. We were hoping to land and cancel the extension as it was showing 100+ days to process extensions. Getting very tired of...

I hope not! We have both done more than enough waiting. Hoping ours gets sent sometime soon..this has turned into such a headache with the photo requests. Haha

Still waiting on Ottawa to send our COPR.. DM Feb 29th, photo request March 10th, they confirmed they have everything needed a few days ago via e-mail. Fingers crossed it arrives soon.

You apply online to extend it, it's 100$ and one piece of paper to sign, you attach your supporting documents, and that's it. :) We just applied to extend ours last week.

I'd say very. We sent new photos, the same day they were delivered received an email that the photos failed and to send new ones. We were on the way out the door when we received a second e-mail saying that first one was a mistake, to ignore it and that they had everything needed to issue our...

We received an e-mail back from Ottawa that basically said "Sorry we lost your photos, can you please send us more and a prepaid envelope, your copr has been printed and is ready to be mailed, we just need the photos we lost, sorry again, sorry." I'm paraphrasing, but basically that. - So..COPR...

No my husbands landing appointment was for the 31st, it's been cancelled because his COPR has not been sent even though we have had DM over a month. They apparently still are waiting for new photos, that were delivered and signed for back in February before we got DM. As long as you bring photos...
