I got "Medical results received" today or yesterday as well :\ looks like my celebration was a liiiiiittle premature as it seems to have been a system-wide update.

If there are some forms that don't apply to you (i.e. Use of a Representative), write "N/A" on the checklist so that the CIC officer doesn't assume that you just forgot to include it. I've read of a few people leaving the tick box blank and then having their entire application returned to them...

AOR - acknowledgement of receipt - it's a letter sent by the Mississauga visa office stating that they've received your sponsorship application. AOR2 - the second acknowledgement of receipt, sent by the visa office that will be processing your application (if you're applying Outland) SA -...

A little update - both our Sponsorship Application Status and PR Application Status are now "In Process" - no new lines for either though, and I've heard that Paris doesn't issue AOR2s.

So confusing. As of now my PR application status is still stuck at "Application received" - it seems like they're moving your application along nicely but not bothering to tell you anything about it :/ I would definitely call as soon as they update the processing times just for the peace of mind!

I think that's the issue then. When you resubmit make sure to indicate why you've omitted that form on the checklist (and any other forms that you're not including, ie dependent children forms) - just an 'N/A' should do. Otherwise the CIC will assume that you forgot to include the form. I hope...

Ugh, so frustrating. You shouldn't have to complete that form of you're not using a representative (obviously). We wrote "NOT APPLICABLE" on both checklists over that box and didn't submit the form at all, although I've read that some people include the form but strike through it to indicate...

We just got SA today :) what a relief. I have no idea how to put my timeline in to the left of my posts but our application was received in Mississauga on August 6 and we received our AOR on September 5. It seems like they're running more or less on schedule so hopefully all August applicants...

Wow! Lots has happened in this thread since I last logged in. Happy to see so many people are getting their AORs :)

Looks like they're working on applications received on July 3 - last updated August 25 and 60 day average wait time for SA.

I'm going to echo Scylla on this - you can't choose your visa office, and if you submit Outland there's no where on the forms to indicate which office you'd like it to be forwarded to anyway. That being said, I would find the Outland thread for your VO and see if there's a spreadsheet running...
