18th draw. a big question to ask.

Doesn't seem to have too many options for you except for the PNP...Don't bother learning French, it will get you what? like 30 points max? And how long would that take for you to max your French score If you are really committed to come/stay in Canada, give it a shot on PNP

    17 CIC Draw-25th September

450+ this Friday. I don't think there is gonna have a 450- draw this year. Those who think people won't enter the pool because there has no low score draw, really, think again.

Should I accept OOPNP after getting ITA?

It is a quite complicated situation for me. Basically I re-created the EE profile when they started the new OOPNP human capital program, and my PGWP was about to expired (expired june 28th), thus by the time I applied for the Spouse Open work permit with my girl friend's work permit (as common...

    388 points : wth !!!!

something must be pretty f'ed up with you to get only 388 points in the first place my friend. 1yr exp max points for your is 444 and 2 yr exp (which you will get eventually if you don't work with the attitude you write a post online) max is 469. So either you are not working hard enough to...

419 score... getting an ITA is nothing short of a miracle!

Instead of over analyzing the possibilities, have you tried everything you can to improve your score? It doesn't hurt to speculate what the CIC will do in the next draws, but I think there's always something you can do if you want to increase your score. Stay strong and never lose hope

whts the Future of International Students

The struggle is always when comparing to current EE to the old CEC. As I said in the other reply, the max a 1-yr exp Canadian undergrad can get in EE is 444, whereas the same condition can almost guarantee a PR in the old CEC. I am not saying that international student should be guarantee a PR...

whts the Future of International Students

You friends must be doing really well in interviews or you might be in a demand>supply job market (eg. Programmers). All my friends barely make 1 year exp with the 3 year work permit and I heard the job hunting is even worse now. Anyway, it doesn't seem so bad to go to college after graduation...

whts the Future of International Students

I don't think many University grads would go to college for another year, plus it's a very tough time for new-grads in Canada to get a job. Take away the college part and consider 1 year exp, your max to get is 444.

    OOPNP Work experience question

Hi all, so I just got the PT notification for OOPNP and am preparing the application package. For my work experience, I had 2 two-months period contract after graduation, which were unqualified work experience, and then I have my current work for almost 2 years which is a NOC A job. It is just...

why EE has been designed like this - An Analysis

I think opindersinghbuttar's point is, anyone with 600+155 should be considered ineligible, despite what program it comes from. Thanks for leading people to the idea that a cec applicant with 59 points is taking their chance #sarcasm# :-[ Either way, there might be easier to get a LMIA or PNP...

why EE has been designed like this - An Analysis

You my friend, is the real MVP. For people who think complaining about how the EE is designed or in favor of certain group of people could help them in any ways, please go right ahead. Like it's gonna give them extra point or something. Criticizing the system is perfectly fine, pushing the fire...
