YES. I received the first one the 14th March and the second one March 29th... Some persons never get AOR but got their OWP. Try giving cic a call to see if they have it in their system.

I received two AORs....both in March. Sponsored received AOR as well in April

I got my OWP today! :) My application was received March 3, 2015. Issued May 6, 2015 for two years. Hope everyone else gets theirs soon.

Oh I see. I saw posts on facebook of persons saying that CIC said to retun the OWP as they made an error by placing the name of a city next to employment location.

Hi Has anyone travelled on an open work permit without a job. I am wondering if i would have any problems getting back in to Canada. My country doesnt require a visa....but i am still hesitant. I would be traveling with my son who is 8 mths.

Hi there I was asking if i would have to extend my son's status....are as I have implied status...the same goes for him? I applied for my OWP with PR application..he is part of the application as a dependent.

Another query...I received my AOR March 14...and yesterday received another AOR for PR...it doesnt mention receipt of the OWP. Why did CIC send me 2 AORs with the same application number? Another query....would my son who is 6mths have implied status as well? Our visitor status expires in June...

I sent my PR and OWP application on March 1, received an email from CIC on March 14, indicating that they received it on March 3.

Hi jeda555 Did you resend the form? I am in a similar situation. I did not use the updated IM0008 feb 2015 form......i used the nov 2014 form. Can anyone advise if we should resend that form with a cover letter indicating the error made? My PR & OWP application were received on March 3, 2015...
