    It was very quick after you submit details on pr portal. Like in 3-4days landing was complete. Pls ensure the picture you upload meet the criteria and is validated before you hit submit in pr portal. She received her PR card in 3 weeks.

    Yes, PA has to land first. I am in a same sitiation like you. My dad has not landed yet. But once he lands I will post the experience here and steps for dependent to become PR if I get any lead. We have sent several webforms requesting for virtual landing but no response since January 2022.

    Depending on where your parents, follow the imstructions on the above letter that you received. My father is in India, he sent pasport to vfs but my mother is in Canada and have not yet received virtual landing instructions.
