    I am waiting for my passport with visa 8) CanadaPost lost my passport for 3 days - nobody knew where the package was - just CanadaPost processing error on their website. It was finally delivered to CPC on April 20th

    Wanna hear something funny? when i called CIC and I also talked to a nice agent who told me that my file was still in NS...and i decided that nothing would happen that week, but next day i checked ECAS and saw decision made... :D

    17 months - that's the time, that's the target they are working towards. if your application is not processed within 17 months then you can ask for an explanation. I am sorry, but i wouldn't compare CIC with a restaurant....I understand your frustration, but your turn will come - I was waiting...

    thank you so much for sharing - I got Decision Made on March 31st (talked to an agent and she said it was made on March 25th actually) - I haven't received PPR yet, but she said that I passed all the checks and my file was approved, so ottawa should contact me - i am still playing in...

    Still haven't received the email confirming the decision made is positive and asking for passport - not sure how it's called...Decision made on March 31st..should I worry? I know that if it's negative decision then they mail you the official paper, not email the passport request :-X

    Mmm i'll wait for an email - if nothing comes till Friday then i'll sure call - but how weird it is...I called CIC yesterday and was told my file was in Process and still in NS - I already decided that nothing will happen this week for sure ;D

    Called CIC today - the guy was nice but not really helpful ;D It can happen anytime - no additional docs required, my file is still in NS. My work Permit expires in June, he said i can wait till may and then apply for extension. Sent: Feb 17th, 2014 IP: August 22nd, 2014

    Guys i think i am going crazy and losing any hope...why does it take so long...It's april already next week...the whole life is like on hold :'(
