    I'm from May. I sat my test on Dec 2nd and received oath invitation on Dec 11th. But the date conflicted with my final exam so I requested for reschedule. I received new invitation on 8th Jan. The new date is 19th Jan. So I'll be a Canadian next week! p.s My ECAS is still "IN PROCESS"

    18th and the letter is dated 4th. So, they sent it 2 days after my test. I hope I don't have to wait too long for new date.

    I send in my application in in the last week of May 2015 and received acknowledgement letter in the mid of June 2015. I received invitation to take test in the last week of November 2015. I sat the test on Dec 2nd. I received invitation for oath ceremony on 11th Dec 2015. Hope that helps.

    I took the test last week and today I received an invitation for oath ceremony in my mailbox. That's super fast! Unfortunately, I have to reschedule it because it's the same day, same time as my final exam. grrrrr

    I agree with previous poster. Just stay as PR. You don't have to become citizen. Just keep renewing PR every five year and you are good.

    No, I did not. I have TOEFL as well. But CIC does not take it. I guess I have no choice but to sit IELTS General.

As a third year student enrolled in a Canadian University, I am curious if I can submit my academic transcript as language proficiency document. I am at good standing and have taken 15 courses so far...
