Can we apply for Student visa & EE at the same time? Please help. Confused

Just to add to this thread, fkl's advice was spot on. I applied for a student visa, whilst in the EE pool. I was honest and upfront about being in the EE pool. My student visa was approved in 1 week with no need for further information. Anyone using a lawyer that has advised withdrawing an EE...

Can we apply for Student visa & EE at the same time? Please help. Confused

helena21, did your lawyer say anything about whether retracting the EE application would improve changes of getting a student visa? I'm in a similar position, am in the EE pool but now want to apply for a student visa. If you remove yourself from EE, are you back on a blank slate again?

Bringing family with me on Student Visa

My question is 'slightly' different to that of other questions about bringing family. I am applying for a 1 year course at a flight school and want to bring my wife and 2 kids. I think it is fairly clear that I can apply for visas for them. The questions I have are 1. Should I apply for them...

you do it online afpnationalpolicechecks.converga.com.au But if you lived in Queensland or Victoria you need a traffic history too. This is made more complicated by the fact that if you were a student you may not have had a driving licence in which case you have to prove you did not have a...

Police Certificate from country in which I was a student?

The rules technically state that applicants who have been given an ITA via EE must then provide police certificates for any countries they have lived for more than 6 months above the age of 18. I lived in Singapore for just over 6 months (after turning 18) before attending university in...

    British and IELTS... typical score?

my advice would be don't underestimate the test. I just took General Training and scored all 9s but to be honest I was surprised I did so well. The speaking and writing are the easy parts. As a native speaker with an academic background you probably don't need to prepare for these two segments...

Setting up and working for a Partnership as a non-resident

One way to start a business in Canada as a non-resident is to set up a corporation or partnership with a Canadian citizen. This looks to be very clear and fairly straight forward. HOWEVER, as a partner, shareholder or board member in such a business are there restrictions on how much time...
