I'm living in Edmonton, which border offices do you think is the best one for me to go to get landed? Is this what you guys refer to as flagpoling? I know Alberta shares border with Montana in US, would i have to find some activity to do in Montana then turn back and drive back into Canada?

Thanks Dobes, I think I was in a hurry when I was writing my question. My girlfriend is a Canadian Citizen and I am on a work permit living in canada. Other than my girlfriend I do have relatives in Canada, uncles, aunts, cousins and so on. I don't know if I got any points through her or not.

I have a police record from my home country from January of this year, I have not been to the country since, do I still need to get a new police record or will that one suffice?

What do they mean when in the document checklist, they say "Police Certificate (multiple) required" and "Passports/Travel documents (multiple) required" ? They also request these things for my common law partner too.
