It is normal. Mine didn't change to "COMPLETE" until last week and I landed on August 8, 2015. Technically it MIGHT not change until you receive your PR Card. I don't know why you are worrying yourself.

Who is the principal/primary applicant among the two of you. Is it you or your wife? Did you updated your address after landing? Let me know.

The waiting was intentional. It has nothing to do with CIC processing time. I can in fact land earlier if I want. It took them only 5 days to send the passport back to me and on the 6th day I got it. Hope that helps. Just keep tracking the passport through Canada post to know the exact day.

Just to update you. My COPR was issued on July 28 and will be landing on either August 7 or 8.

A word of advice, dont renew online but rather send a paper application. Trust me it will buy you more time than the online application. Also the online site is currently experiencing problems and can mess up your application.
