Yes that was the Dec 16 update. But still my app reached the CIO in Sydney on Dec 15 so shouldn't it be already included in that count (822)?

How come?? Up until mid December the CIC site showed that there were only 385 apps out of 1000 for this NOC category. Are you sure it is 1123 (Marketing and Advertising professionals?) :(

I personally don't think it matters whether it is a debit card or a credit card. The card should have sufficient balance to cover the fees when they process it.
