I got the invitation for Oath ceremony. Now my question will be, how long will it take to received paperwork for travelling or maybe passport roccess is getting better ?

I think there is a backlog with passports as well. Hopefully all our applications has been approved, and we are just waiting for Oath and following processing steps. My concern will be also, if during the Oath we cut our PR cards, then backlog of further steps will actually impact us more. We...

I received my ATIP request, it tooks 3-4 weeks. Seems we are just waiting for Oath ceremony. I guess there's really a very long backlog.

Does anyone check the app status on service canada website ? www.service3.cic.gc.ca So there i see DM , but when I go with canada.ca - then it is showing in process and details, but it is last updated in August 2021.

I seems our application processing is exceedin 27 months.

I had similiar case. Test completed in April 2021, all the checks are completed by Sept. 2021. And nothing since then. I started to worry if there are mistakes or anything. I m thinking to involve MP here , should be a simple case.

my last update is almost a year ago, when they conducted all the checkinS after the test, all of them is mentioned as completed. I just assumed all is ok, or if they need some more information they will contact me. So why it takes so long , and for many applicants, they got their next steps...

I agree, there is no excuse for this backlog .... also my PR card is valid until feb 2021, what we suppose to do , I applied for renewal, but again, ......

My PR will be expired in February 2021. Now when Citizenship application has such a backlog, when I should apply for PR card renewal? We just received AOR for citizenship app., I am not sure f we will receive the passports before Feb. :) Any advice about PR card renewal will be appreciated.

Mine is from Gatineau. I am not sure which local office will be reviewing it?
