Ontario Nominee - anyone been accepted with no ties

Just wondering those who have recieved the 600 points from the ontario programme, did anyone have little to no links to ontario or have they all been strong cases? My ties are that my old head office is there and it would be easy for me to find work.. thoughts?

    2) questions bout work history and self wmployed contracting

So I have looked and looked on the CIC website and for some reason cant find the relevant pages about provinf work history. 1) Am I right in remebering that to prove my work history I just need a signed letter from HR on company letter head with adress stating what my roles and responsibilities...

NO PT nomination yet for OOPNP

considering how badly the CIC site was crashing last night I would assume alot of us went and recreated profiles so no Ontario probably have alot of applications to go through. Also the way I read it is that there are 2700 places, not letters so they may send out 15K letters to ask people to...

Ontario Express Entry: Human Capital Priorities Stream

really? your taking a gamble thinking the score is going to come down. From the messages above it sounds like they are firing out the nominations to people like you. If I was in your position (which I am) do I risk now or get into the process and start

Ontario Express Entry: Human Capital Priorities Stream

Whilst I will be going to create a new profile tomorrow I hold little hope that I will get a PT with 410 points for the sole fact that nothing of my history shows any tie with ontario, apart from the fact that I work for a Toronto based company. I would assume with the line stating that "having...

why in the hell does the ontario government want 400 points for Human Capital?

I would say that most people over 400 points have either a) good work experience history b) good english results c) high levels of education All three of the above would be good indicators of ability to assimilate into the province.

It could be that EE is predominantly targeting non-PRs in Canada

wow angry arent you? I didnt say it wasnt hard to get an LMIA for people in Canada just easier than those overseas. Also I hope you see the irony in telling me to go improve my IELTS (I got full marks thanks) when by your last paragraph I would suggest your written score would not be at full...

It could be that EE is predominantly targeting non-PRs in Canada

Way easier. Employers are far more likely to apply for an LMIA for a current employee who is already working and contributing to their business. Much less likely (especially how risk adverse canadians are) applying for one for someone they have never really met before and not tested their...

It could be that EE is predominantly targeting non-PRs in Canada

of course they want to select those who are already here and are working because they will intergrate more easily. Hence why having canadian work experience is given more points. Those with PGWP or longer term IEC's are given greater priority because they are in the country and already working...

    Express Entry functionality??

easy, the big factor in fitting in with society is having a job. That is a good way to make friends and learn culture. Working with Canadians will speed up a persons assimilation much fast then knowing how to speak english or being highly educated. Also you have criticized a lot of people...

If FSW category(in EE) needs job offer or LMIA from canada to be eligible in EE?

dont quote me on this but I think 6 is too low for IELTS score, or what did you put for proof of funds, it needs to be above 14K

Express entry based on LMIA (Not fair to international Grads)

once again wrong. I'm on 410 points, I have full IELTS score, a degree and 3+ years overseas work experience. Also I'm married but my wife is yet to do the english test as we knew that the points wouldnt come under 450 in the next couple of months (I doubt before the election) so we decided to...

Express entry based on LMIA (Not fair to international Grads)

Firstly you obviously havent read my previous posts where I have mentioned I'm currently in canada on an IEC but only have a couple of weeks left. Secondly you ignore the point that PGWP holder get favoured through the sole fact they are given three year work permits. This allows them to gain...

Express entry based on LMIA (Not fair to international Grads)

What you dont understand is how that looks to canafian citizens. They have to be tough on PGWP or otherwise its just seens as a way of buying permanent residency. You do get treated better than 95% of oversease candidates because you get the work vosa for three years which in turn allows you...

10 th draw lets B Positive

Re: 10 th draw No Hopes Group I disagree on that point. As I have always said the legislation states that it is at "the instruction of the minister of immigration" so at any point he can decree that only certain NOC's or IELTS results etc could be offered. He has done this already for a...
