COPR = Confirmation of Permanent Residency....it's the document/paper they will send you once you are approved. Once you cross a border / land...you will sign that in front of an Officer. That will be your proof of permanent residency in Canada.

Oh this is very good news. A friend of mine had received that email...and basically they submitted their passport...then got the email for when to pick it up. In your case, does your country require counterfoil? Seems like you do! If not, then just send the passport. I wish I could help you...

Hey Anxious2015, That's great news!!! But why are they giving you instructions on how to place a visa on passport? They place it themselves. Can you paste that info on here? Maybe I can get a better idea what they are saying! BTW, my hubby just landed yesterday :D

The most I had to ever wait for Vienna to get back to me was 3 business days! Most of the time they replied within 1-2 days. And there is no reason why you can't email them! It does not delay the processing! I must have emailed them at least 15 times. Not just " Hey..is my file done yet? any...

Hey anxious2015, Did you have to submit a lot of Police Checks? Usually for people that lived in many places..it takes longer to do the background checks. Also, which email are you emailing them at? If they request a document...they put you back in processing queue...from what they told me...

His mom usually gives me receipes over skype :P ..and shows me how to make them lol It's kinda more fun that way. I don't think he will be much of a cook himself hahahhaha

Hello all, ECAS changed to DM on Thursday, November 26th and got an email same day saying documents are ready for pick up. Hubby just got passport with Visa today. He'll be flying saturday :) ...so it was pretty fast from DM.

Mire jam flm! Ti qysh je? So, there was this other girl from Kosovo and she applied June 2014 and didn't hear a word until June 2015 when we told her on the forum to email Vienna. She had applied through immigration consultant too. And they wouldn't email Vienna for her, they kept telling her...

Hey Everyone! My husband got the passport today with the VISA and COPR. So I think all of you that got DM, you are approved :) He will be flying Saturday! So excited!!!

Finally got DM today! 7 months for the whole process. Waiting for the passport to come back..hopefully this means it's a visa..and everything is fine! Good luck everyone!
