For all those who have got their passports back from NDVO with visa stamped, how long did it take to get it back? My wife submitted the passport on December 29,2017, I want to book her flight tickets for Feb. 1, 2018. Do you guys think, this would be a sufficient margin?

Have you linked your application to MyCiC account? What does it say under medical? And what is showing in ECAS?

No I didn't. MyCIC account still says BGC in progress. Maybe they will send it with PPR.

I applied for Visitor Visa on September 14, 2017. Took them forever to process it. I thought they were going to reject it, but they didn't and send me PPR yesterday.

Yes I applied for both. Spouse Visa, I applied from Canada, they did sponsorship processing in Mississauga and then they transferred the file to NDVO. I got Medical Request right after SA in April. Today I got DM on ECAS for the PR application as well. Please see my complete timeline below...

My wife got Visitor Visa (passport request) today, applied September 14. Not sure what took them so long, but at least they gave something. For visitor visa, Mycic account says your application has been approved. PR application still has BGC in progress from October 5th.

Sent a case specific enquiry to NDVO on visitor visa a month ago, no response. Ordered notes earlier in september, before BGC was in progress. There was no adverse information on that one. Ordered again last week, will see what it says once I get it.

No, I applied online for visitor visa. They haven't made a decision on it yet. We didn't send the passport, that will be done after the DM on visitor visa.

Congrats! At least you made it to BGC. There are still quite a few people from Feb, Mar and Apr who haven't got there. This thing that aggravates me is that they are also not giving out visitor visa in the interim. I applied for visitor visa on September 14, haven't got a decision on it either...
