I think they do not call the employer for verification, but they verify the employer form with the details inputed by the employer. They can verify it via Tax Number given by the employer and records of the company. But I have seen a fellow OINP applicant from the same company that I am working...

Totally agree on this, you cannot claim points on CRA without NOA because the basis of it is the time you have filled your NOI and signed attestation form. OINP will "might" reject your application if you claimed points on CRA-NOA and you did not have the proper NOA for the draw. Best of luck...
