Moving province after PR because of discrimination? Any advice?

Vensak - I know that you don't understand, and I know that you are trying to understand and in doing so have become confused. I don't have anything more to say to you, as to be frank I don't have the time to explain to you how the watch was made when I asked what the time is.

Moving province after PR because of discrimination? Any advice?

Ashuindian thank you, I will, that's a really good idea. I have also emailed our MP. We still have no respoonse from CIC but this morning our province have said we are welcome to leave whenever we want without consequences as they are satisfied we did everything we could to settle here. So good...

Moving province after PR because of discrimination? Any advice?

Thanks everyone, we are going to move provinces, hopefully things will improve a lot. Vensak your responses show that you haven't read my posts properly. If think there is something fishy about my experiences then you are either very naive, very lucky to have led such a sheltered life, or hold...

Moving province after PR because of discrimination? Any advice?

Thanks MF, unfortunately my line of work means we need to live in a rural area. We do own a house and live here, we can also, I think, prove beyond reasonable doubt that we intended to live here in this province permanently, we have tried really hard to fit in, settle and become part of the...

Moving province after PR because of discrimination? Any advice?

Thank you MF, we were hoping that was the case, you just hear horror stories of revoked pr. No its not Sask, I'm worried about saying too much but its Atlantic Canada. We are so miserable here, this was our dream :(. We genuinely intended to spend the rest of our lives in this province.

Moving province after PR because of discrimination? Any advice?

Does anyone have experience of moving province after gaining PR? We landed and activated our PR just over three months ago, at first we loved our province. I found a job I loved immediately, we bought a beautiful home with cash from our savings, my wife started making friends at mother and...

Proof of funds - Parents account - joint account

The account doesn't have to be in the name of the principal applicant, for our application all of the funds were in my wife' s account, my name wasn't on the account at all and I didn't have permission legally to use the account. She wrote a letter saying that she considered all of our money to...

Ontario PNP - Post COPR work location

Hi, can you get a letter from your employer in Ontario saying that you will have to spend 6 months in Alberta at their request to work on a project but that after that you will be returning to Ontario and settling there? Could you also speak to the Office of Settlement, Immigration and...

Error while filling the cic forms

If I were you I would send a case specific enquiry to CIC (google CIC CSE and the webpage should come up, sorry cant post a link at the moment) and explain everything to CIC that way. I used the CSE system to add extra information to my application and it seemed to work well.

IMM5562 E Travel History Info Form

We had this problem, particularly as we have travelled a lot in the EU which has open borders, so no way of telling from passport. We just uploaded a section into our LOE stating that we have looked back as best we could and that although the countries we visited and the years we visited them in...

Obligations/Legal Bindings for PNP Nominated Canididate to stay in the province?

Most of the PNP offices state that after you land you have to register with their Office of Immigration/Settlement and give your address in the province, attend meetings and support groups with them to help you find a job and keep them updated on how you are settling in. It would be extremely...

plz help me get 7+ in speaking..

If you aren't sure of a question, or need time to think, say something like... "hmmm, well..." and then make it look like you are considering what they are asking. You could also say "I haven't really thought of that before.." If you really aren't sure what they are asking, or need to stall for...

@irlcan I'm not sure there is an average, we were outland express entry PNP and we received our CoPR one month after we submitted out post ITA application, so ours was extremely fast. Our visa office was London and I had heard that they were slow too.

What to do if can't required Band in IELTS ( We Need Alternatives )

Why don't you try some tutoring in English, or a free online English language learning program? As everyone says, improving your English would be a huge benefit, it will help you get PR and it will help you establish a life in Canada. I have lived in a country where my ability in their...

@msf hahaha!!! Here is to LOEs which probably give CIC agents tears of boredom! Our application didn't change for several weeks, then suddenly everything seemed to happen at once. I was quite worried about having London as a visa office as I thought they were supposed to be very very slow, but...

@msf no I don't mind at all, I'm Scottish and my wife and son are French. Or, more to the point, I we were but now we are Canadian :D. We did write the mother of all LOEs (26 pages of A4) scanned into one document and included it in our application, and I think this really helped our processing...

I received my PR card through PNP, but recently received a mail

Did you register with the office of immigration, settlement and population in your province after you landed? If not, then it is probably genuine, but telephone them to check. If you are a PNP nominee you are required to visit the office of isp and let them know that you have arrived, at least...
