They will probably request it. For visa exempt countries a passport photocopy would be sufficient. For me, DM showed up on ecas a day after PPR.

Now that was quick!! CPC-Ottawa received my PPR documents on 23 Nov. COPR issued on 24 Nov. COPR sent by CIC on 25 Nov. COPR received on 26 Nov. So the day I received my COPR I drove down to Prescott border and got my stamps. I wish best luck to everyone and I hope 2014 applicants get their DMs...
