Mine is the same scenario. I am just hoping that they process ours as soon as they are done with the people who applied till 20th October. So waiting is all we can do. maybe by end of this week we will know what's gonna happen to us. goodluck

That means once I apply for the visitor visa I can stay in Canada even if they do not reply by 3rd March. Reason why I am asking this is that I have already been on implied status till 3rd december because I applied for a new work permit which got rejected
