Looks like the people who sent there applications in December are getting AOR's while the people who sent their applications in October or November have been skipped over. Not sure what I can do to expedite things.

Does anyone know what is going on with all these December 2015 applicants getting AOR's? My application was received on November 24th and I haven't received my AOR and I see many others waiting even longer. Should I/we call CIC?

I tried calling 1-888-242-2100 but when I press 0 to get an operator it says the office is currently closed. But it's 10 AM Vancouver time which means it's between 8AM - 4 PM in every part of Canada and it's Monday. Why does it say they are closed when this is their hours?

Hello, CIC received my wifes PR application on Nov 24th, 2015 according to the UPS signature e-mail but I have not yet received an AOR. How can I check my status on ECAS? I need the AOR letter in order to try and get coverage with MSP so that is my concern. Thanks.
