Yup, this was already done when we established common-law. It was part of the proof of relationship in our application package.

Update: We received COPR at our Sponsor Canadian address instead of the listed US mailing address for the Applicant on March 3. And it went to the wrong mailbox too, (thanks Canada Post!), Luckily our neighbor actually gave it to us! We made an appointment with the London, Ontario CIC office...

So this is incredibly confusing. I'm getting so many different answers depending on who we are calling (CIC/CSBA). My fiance got her COPR, and since she is already in Canada we made an appointment at a local office to "land" on Friday. However they don't process B4 (importing goods to follow)...

So we need to make a separate appointment at a CSBA office after our official landing? Or can we just present the B4 form the first time we enter Canada after becoming a PR.

My common-law partner got her COPR last week and we made an appointment for an inland office, as she is currently in Canada with me. I know that when you come through at a port of entry they require B4 forms to goods accompanying and following, and this is processed by the CSBA. What exactly...

4Canucks did you use the online form to file a case specific inquiry? https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx Or email a specific address directly? The call center was useless, They told us to wait the 17 months listed for our application type then call again.

We appear to be in the same boat, 4Canucks. Waiting since DM on the 11th. I'm waiting in queue with the call center right now to see if we can get more info.

In my initial application we submit around 30 pages of chat logs. In the GMCS notes I ordered I saw the note "excess chat lots shredded". So yeah... 70 pages seems like overkill!

UCI are unique per person (hence the name unique client identifier).

Good question. The only thing we were asked for was more proof of relationship in early December. No new pictures, passport request, or any other new documents were asked of us before we saw "Decision Made" today.

James, I got Decision Made in Ecas this morning! It was not there last night when I checked. Hopefully this means you aren't too far behind! My partner just came from the USA to Canada, but her mailing address is still her parent's place in the USA which means COPR is going to be mailed there...
