I am in the same boat too. I got my background check completed update on the 24th of February, so no idea when the next steps are going to happen. I am kind of disappointed with the pace at which they are working. My location is Brampton, ON

It took 26 days for my GCMS notes

My background verification is still showing pending. it's only the GCMS notes which show's criminality is complete. feels like someone has completely forgotten about the file.i still got Ghost updates on 29th sept and 4th Oct but nothing after that

You seem to have your background check completed. mine is still pending. was requested fingerprints back in July and at end of august received an update that they have received fingerprint results. everything is in process for me, ghost updates on 29th Sept. and 4th Oct.

Got a fingerprint request on Friday 23rd July. I got my fingerprints done at a UPS store and they said it takes 4-6 weeks for turnaround time . Does anyone have any idea about the process?

Got an ECAS update that the File is: In Process (7th June) everything else other than the citizenship test and ceremony is also in process on the new tracker.

It was sent through an email and they also mentioned that they will send a copy of the letter and a discover Canada journal so that we can familiarise ourselves more with the country

I received my application back yesterday as it contained one box that had not been filled up by me. My dumb luck., I corrected it and sent it back yesterday. I think I would need to reset the clock now.

Got the PR card today in mail Landed - 18th Feb Request for resubmission of pics - 18th April Pics reached - 25th April PR card sent - 4th July PR cards received - 15th July

I have the same story ..mine was sent to Toronto on the 4th too .. But no luck so far

Still no news of my PR card ..waiting till the weekend ..if I won't get the cards I am sending new pics to CIC ..fingers crossed hope I get the cards in next 2 days

If people who's pics were received in May have started getting PR cards then I guess I need to send the pics again ..anyone else in the same boat ..I sent my pics on 18th April through regular mail
