this is the status i see : "Visa application, tracking ID No.XXXX – Passport has been couriered from the Canada Visa Application Centre, on 21/01/2016 vide courier partner. To track the status of the shipment, please visit courier partner website."

MyCIC status changed yesterday night/today morning. I called up VFS, so they confirmed that they have received my PP and they'll dispatch via Blue Dart (I had opted for Courier service). I expect to receive the passport on sat or next monday. Check with VFS (call them 022-67866002). They...

Final status is 'Approved' ? Your stamping is done then. You should be getting back your PP very soon

I got it done from Elbit medicals, Indian Express Building. Take an appt before you go there and tell them its for Upfront Medicals/Express Entry. it should take you 2-3 hrs to complete the entire process. They'll give you a confirmation printout which you need to upload on your application.

My photographer was able to get the size of the face to around 35 mm. The photo will cover almost half the chest. try checking with another studio, else there's the VFS studio as well. I am not sure abt the purpose of writing the studio address, but may be they cross-check once in a while.

There was a photo studio in the blore vfs centre. Which one are u going to? It's better to carry a photo according to the new specifications. Avoid last minute hassles. I had the studio place their stamp on the back of the photo and hand-wrote the date.

No appt needed. U can just walk-in with the docs. The charges of 580/- are per passport, but i think they send all passports in an application together in a large envelope. They took only one copy of PPR letter along with 2 passports (latest only) and 2 photos each

You can't send the passport to vfs via courier. Someone will have to hand deliver the documents to vfs. You can travel to Chennai, Blore or Hyd - all three have Canada VFS counters.
