Thanks and understand. But is there anyone who also got the same "Condition 32" and still got his/her PR card before the medical surveillance was finally completed? Any recent experiences are highly appreciated!

    Waiting for PR CARD - 2015 / 2016

Yes, the specification sent to me mentioned a new size, 50mm * 70mm, which is different from what we've sent (35mm * 45mm) with our applications package. So I need to resend 2 50mm * 70mm photos.

Really? I think it is still fine whenever you cross the US-Canada border by your own/rented car with CoPR only.

    Waiting for PR CARD - 2015 / 2016

Hi Taddy, Where do you find out your card status? In the ECAS? I can still see my ECAS showing my DM status on my immigration application. I landed on January 23 and nothing has changed in the ECAS since my DM appeared in last November.

    New Permanent Resident Card

You card number will be your UCI (Unique Client Identifier). Interestingly, the UCI of my PR Application, which would be the number of my PR Card, is also the UCI of my previous Visitor Visa (TRV). I think that is a rule of CIC.

    New Permanent Resident Card

Yes, I know. It must be "personal land crossing", which is driving a rented/personal/friend's car or walking through. Taking a commercial bus/train surely needs PRTD. I have known that. Of course, thank you again for the future clarification.

    New Permanent Resident Card

My officer did not tell me that, he told me to apply for a PR Travel Document, which is one-time only with only a few months validity. I guess I could rent a car in Seattle, cross the Canada-USA border by myself, show the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) officer the CoPR along with my non...

    New Permanent Resident Card

Not quite sure yet. Maybe in 1 - 2 months for a job interview. I am not US citizen/permanent resident. I just study in the US. So I am not visa-exempt in Canada. How long would a Canadian Permanent Resident Travel Document be valid? One month? Three months? Half a year? One year? Thanks.
