I'm in the same situation you are. I've applied on the 28th May and I'm still waiting. Called multiple times and all they said was that they're processing my application. If you are applying for an extension, then you can study because you're under implied status. That's what I'm doing anyway...

Don't think so, I've applied for extension on 28th May here (British Columbia), still nothing. My permit expired on 15th July, enjoying implied status. :( Their system is crazy, the order they're processing the applications makes no sense and the website timeline is not that trustworthy either...

Just checked the website, and I saw that they updated the status there. Analyzing the applications submitted on the 12th April, 88 days. I've applied 28th May for the fall intake. I'm losing hope, I'm sure that I'll have to defer my start date to January if they continue in this sluggish pace. :-[

Is this all normal? I mean, waiting that long just for an extension. Don't they know that a lot of students need for their permit for the next September? Is there anything unusual happening for the slowed-down processing of the applications?
