We sent the VO the police certificate from Russia and the UK (where we currently live) but we weren't able to obtain the certificate from Bermuda (where she lived for 4 years) until the VO sent a special request form which we only received in September. Congrats on completing the process! We...

We are in the same boat. ECAS changed to in process around the same day as you. The VO requested 1 more police certificate and scans of all pages in my wife's passport. Still no word. Kinda sucks but what can ya do?

Since we're both living in the UK they asked me (the sponsor) to provide evidence of my intention to return to Canada. So I've included proof that we own a condo where we plan to live, a few job application emails, some correspondence with headhunters, receipts of us wiring some of our savings...
