Check your email once in a while. I got an email regarding my landing interview schedule two weeks after I got the "decision made" email. As for the PR card, they said it will be sent in 8-10 weeks after the landing interview :) I'm not sure with Montreal, but they will sure tell you about it...

You will be given a Confirmation of Permanent Residence if you pass the interview (which I guess is mostly the case), and a new SIN if you don't have one yet. No need to go to the border, it's a CIC office nearest to your area.

Lovely morning everyone! I am so happy coz I just got a letter from CIC regarding my interview schedule to finalize my PR application :) I am just confused with the date, is it MM/DD/YYYY or DD/MM/YYYY? They should have just typed the whole month in letters :D Thank you!

Lucky you. I am only working part-time so I didn't bother trying to get an OHIP thinking my application will just be declined.

Thanks screech339! I only work part time and started only a few months ago so I didn't bother trying to get an OHIP. I wanted to wait for at least an AIP if it's true I can finally apply for OHIP with it, and ask you guys for confirmation if I can indeed get one.

It could be. I got 2 years OWP, and I haven't passed stage 1 yet.

As I understand it, the OWP is good for two years or the passport's expiration, whichever comes first...
