    I had the oath yesterday. officer's decision was made and approved in June. tested in March. and applied in 2011. pre-test RQ started in Aug 2013 and done in St. Clare Jan 2015. It's a long journey, but we can wait and expect, as the same from our lives.

    ten: djoli, janoo, Soopergal, AK111, ItkExpert, Feb2012, walrus1891, am4u2ster, bogazici10 and supercarp. it seems we all have relatively complicate and long files for the applications. we also learned the cic system better during those years' waiting, which may help if we can decide a fight.

    agree. keep the patience and wait for the oath letter. it will come, sooner or later. no need to compare with the 2014 applicants, they are lucky to pay more for the speed.

    yes, they did, the passports were checked and questions asked. one month later, fingerprint was requested for RCMP renew. ATIP shows: Hearing changed to "not required" after the test and interview, and the file was on CIC XXX officer's desk at the time of ATIP request.

    right, actually i should thank the bureau in some sense, as otherwise my application should have been closed long time ago if my wife has not insisted on coming back in 2014. now the process is indeed approaching the end. thank god.

    The officer will check and white out any info that is related to security, and send you the report around 30 days after your request. but sometimes, they do miss some info during the checking, so we may see more in the file if lucky.
