sep21 husband landed today at vancouver office. apt was for 2pm but landed at 1pm. arrived early. there was also a group scheduled for 1pm but somehow they started with us.

i thought the same originally. but we got that exact same notification yesterday only and dm today only. probably varies by officer.

yes "We received your application to sponsor ---- on September 26, 2013" online status still shows nothing different than before though, on sponsor or applicant side

sep 26th app. got the first part of first stage approval today??, not sure whats that called again (sponsor meets the requirements to sponsor) and says my spouse will be contacted shortly.

just a note for inlanders: i asked awhile ago and no one seemed to know forsure some gave very silly/bad info but anyways thouse from a visa required country it appears you can apply for a multi entry visa as soon as you get ur open work permit( even the new pilot program one!) on cic website...
