I got AOR today. AR 2nd March 2020. AOR 27 Aug 2020. I also received Biometic letter for me and my wife by email. However since currently Biometric facility in closed in Toronto. I don't know what to do next. They have given me time till 25 Nov 2020 to submit the biometric.

How do you check your status in your cic account? I don't have access to my cic account it is with the consultant.

Yes we do need police clearance in all cases, it is a must requirement. You are right it should be two weeks processing but i guess they are taking time for background check, which is a lengthy process.

What is your status?

I applied from Pakistan for work permit, LIMA Exempt Intra company transfer. Applied on 18 July with Upfront medical and police clearance certificate. Biometrics request came on 19 July. Biometrics submitted on 20 July. Nothing after that, still waiting.
