Do they ask for travel itinerary at the time of Oath ceremony if I want the certificate to be expedited? How soon the travel should be if my Oath is on July 1st? ( just for an idea and I can use the same itinerary for passport application as well)

I thought it was a prank lol. They do special ceremonies on Canada day so that could be the reason he called to check if I am available as its a holiday. My status still shows "not started" for oath ceremony. Hopefully they update and send the invite email soon. All the best to everyone out...

Awww I wish that too for you. I think they go based on the location so Mayor will attend the ceremony( that's what I heard from a frnd). I don't exactly know how it works.

I got call from IRCC yesterday and asked me if I am available for Oath Ceremony on July 1st. I am becoming a Canadian on Canada Day. How cool is that!!!

I am on same boat. I will probably wait in the line at passport office for as many hours required and apply for urgent pick up. If you plans of travelling to your home, then visitor visa would be best option as OCI is taking 2 months

I have the same timeline even with the day test taken. Hopefully I get the Oath invite soon.

Everything else except oath ceremony updated to completed on May 9th. How long does it take usually to get oath invite after everything else is updated?
